ONE NIGHT CAMPS

A night away from home…

One of the most popular events that Outspark provide is the ‘one-night camp’. Based at your school, or at a near-by green-field location, Outspark run a day of fun, interesting and team-focused activities, followed by a night under canvas.

Starting at 9am, the children will be put in to small teams and enter in to a carousel of activities. The equipment will be brought in to the school site by Outspark and the sessions facilitated by our professional team of Instructors. After lunch (usually a pack-up brought from home, or a meal from the school canteen where appropriate), the children will engage in two further activities - following the two in the morning - and then start their feast preparation.

After dinner, Outspark will organise a camp-fire and run some evening activities for the children. And as evening sets, the children will go to bed in the tents that Outspark have brought and - for some - enjoy their first night under canvass. The experience ends at 9am the following morning after all the children have had an Outspark supplied breakfast.

The one-night camp could be a great introduction to the concept of a night away from home. It could be a precursor to a multi-night residential, or a brilliant ice-breaking experience for a Year 7 group.
